REFUGEE OUTREACH

On the second Sunday of each month at 4:00 PM in the Student Ministry Room (entrance A), we gather to celebrate what God is doing through the REACH Ministry and  to learn about opportunities to serve God in ways that encourages transformation through the power of Jesus Christ. We hope that you will come to the next REACH Night and join in as we serve others for the cause of Christ.

Strategy: welcome, engage, and care

WELCOME...

Refugees face a number of difficulties and obstacles to overcome when arriving into America. As the fourth largest receiving community for refugees in Kentucky, there is a big need to provide a loving and accepting atmosphere. We are called to love and be love to our neighbors.

ENGAGE...

Our God is a relational God and we strive to imitate Him in our lives. We do this through serving meals, helping in classrooms and simply sharing our lives with one another.

  • Classroom Assistant

  • Co-op Teacher

  • Meal Server

CARE...

Refugees need to experience the love of God. We find that the best way to experience God’s love is by being in community with God’s people. Our goal through “Care” is to get to know and develop a personal relationship with them by praying and sharing the Gospel together.
